The Denver Broncos get a boost in Week 8 as running back Phillip Lindsay has cleared the concussion protocol and will play today against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, not all the news was good on the injury front as wide receiver Tim Patrick will be unable to go as he works back from a hamstring issue.
Also inactive for Denver will be tight end Jake Butt and wide receiver Diontae Spencer. Other than that, the rest are usually on this list every week. The Broncos will likely miss Patrick’s presence the most as the young wide receiver has filled in admirably as the teams number one guy after Courtland Sutton went down with a season-ending injury earlier this season.
The Chargers are mostly healthy heading into this game with the only notable inactive is quarterback Tyrod Taylor who lost his starting job earlier this season when a team doctor inexplicably punctured Taylor’s lung when doing a routine injection. The team has stuck with Justin Herbert at quarterback ever since.
