Broncos bringing back De’Vante Bausby

In recent news, the Denver Broncos brought back De’Vaunte Bausby...should he have ever left?

NFL: Denver Broncos at New England Patriots Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

One of the biggest head-scratching moves this team has made during the 2020 NFL season was releasing De’Vante Bausby. Go watch his tape from the game against the Patriots. He played a damned good game and looked like he belonged.

Were the Broncos trying to stash him on the practice squad? Was there some kind of locker room issue with him? The move just never made sense to me.

Either way, I’m glad he’s back in the Orange and Blue. This team could use his talent at cornerback (honestly, anything to avoid our 5th best or worse corners getting significant snaps).
