Drew Lock should be more than just questionable for this week’s game

Quarterback drama is all the rage in Denver and has been for decades...should the Broncos avoid it by sitting Drew Lock “for injury reasons?”

NFL: Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

Drew Lock is on the injury report. That isn’t surprising with how poorly the Broncos offensive line “blocks” for him. What is surprising to me is that he wasn’t benched before he threw his 4th interception of the game last week.

I get it...we’re fickle fans here in Broncos Country. And when every quarterback lives in the shadow of legends like John Elway and Peyton Manning, you need to be careful with how they are handled.

But really, don’t you think the Broncos should sit Lock so he can heal from his injuries and maybe get some space away from the starter’s role so he can reflect on how he can better learn to be an actual NFL quarterback? You tell me.
