Photos from the Broncos epic 31-30 comeback win against Chargers

The Denver Broncos beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-30 on the game’s final play. Here are some of the best photos from that game.

The Denver Broncos made an incredible comeback from being down 24-3 to beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-30 on the game’s final play. The comeback began midway through the third quarter when running back Phillip Lindsay shot himself out of a cannon on a 55-yard touchdown run to score the Broncos first touchdown in the game.

“Phillip was calm today,” Drew Lock said after the game. “There’s a lot of times where you have four rushing yards at half and Phillip’s going to lose his you-know-what. We’re getting older, we’re getting experience, we’re all getting better. And him coming out, staying level headed, being ready for the play to come his way and he made it when it came his way. That was just the epitome of tonight. When the play was there to be made, guys ended up making them.”

From there, the Broncos would score three more touchdowns, including a pass from Lock to KJ Hamler as time expired to tie the game. The extra point would seal the victory. It was one of the best comebacks this team has had since the Peyton Manning era.
