Can the Broncos offense get it going against the Dolphins defense?

Dalton Risner joined Broncos Country Tonight to discuss the challenge Miami’s defense poses to the offense.

Dalton Risner knows the task in front of him is a big one.

The Miami Dolphins defense does a great job at creating pressure and the Denver Broncos offensive line isn’t exactly stellar at blocking it.

Thus, the challenge for Risner and Denver on Sunday.

On Friday’s Broncos Country Tonight, the Broncos left guard joined Ryan Edwards and Benjamin Allbright to discuss that challenge, as well as the offense getting off to fast starts, and fighting through the adversity.

“You look at that game against the Las Vegas Raiders, it’s 10-6. We score right before (the) half, get it called back. It’s 13-10, that’s a different ballgame. We were doing some really good things. Field position, you could make the excuse, I guess, we were starting within the 10- or 15-yard line. But as an offense, we need to at least get it to the 50 and flip the field for the defense. And we weren’t doing that. We have spurts of things that we do really well. As long as all 11 of us can go out on Sunday and do our jobs and do it a high level and don’t take plays where one position is doing one thing or messing up, I think we’ll be really successful.”

Bonus listen

I joined the guys to discuss the need for the Broncos to use Phillip Lindsay, how the defense can help the offense, and we even get into some Denver Nuggets.
