Saints at Broncos betting odds: Big home underdogs in Week 12

The Denver Broncos will take on the 8-2 New Orleans Saints as 6-point home underdogs in Week 12. Can they cover the spread this week?

The 8-2 New Orleans Saints will come to the Mile High City to take on the 4-6 Denver Broncos in Week 12. Predictably, oddsmakers will be favoring the Super Bowl contender in this game over the struggling sub-.500 team.

According to SportsBetting.com, the Broncos will once again be home underdogs as they host the surging Saints who are 8-2 and sport the NFC’s best record. The over/under is a lower scoring affair at 43.

Many would assume the Saints changed their entire offense for Taysom Hill once Drew Brees went down, but Head Coach Vic Fangio noted earlier this week that this wasn’t the case in their 23-9 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

“They ran their normal offense,” Fangio said. “I was turning on the tape maybe to see something different, but it’s the Saints offense they’ve been running ever since [Saints Head Coach] Sean’s [Payton] been there and they’ve evolved to, with the addition of his ability to have the quarterback designed runs. But other than the quarterback designed runs which are unique to him, they ran their offense.”

It might have been a little different in that Hill took off running more often than Brees ever did scoring two rushing touchdowns. The Broncos will need to contain him to have a chance in this game.
