The Denver Broncos were on the verge of a complete and total collapse last week, but four touchdowns in the final quarter and a half propelled them to a thrilling 31-30 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
That comeback win obviously helped Broncos Country feel much more confident about this team moving forward. 63% now feel good about the direction this team is heading.
Personally, I had hit my lowest point as a fan since Drew Lock was drafted last year at about halftime last week. Lock had led the team to a half dozen three and outs, he was missing every read and every throw. I was about done with the Drew Lock era.
Then he showed me his ceiling in the final 20 minutes of the game. Now if he could just play more like that more often, this team would begin to win a lot more games. Hopefully, the end of last week is a harbinger of things to come from Drew Lock because that was a fun way to close out a win.
The team is on the road this week against the 2-6 Atlanta Falcons, but they shouldn’t sleep on them as they have played much better in their last three games - winning two of them.
