The Denver Broncos played a tough game last week and nearly came out with the upset. Things look a lot easier this week as they go from an 11-1 opponent to a 4-8 one in the Carolina Panthers.

Game preview
Things got a lot harder this morning when the Broncos announced that Garett Bolles would miss the first game of his career after coming down with an non-COVID illness. They will also be without Demar Dotson and Graham Glasgow. That means Calvin Anderson and Elijah Wilkinson will bookend Drew Lock’s protection and rookie Netane Muti will start inside.
That will make things a little interesting offensively for the Denver Broncos. They will need to rely heavily on the run game and shorter routes in the passing game to overcome the potential issues in protection up front. The Panthers, on the other hand, will be without Christian McCaffrey, so that should hopefully even things out overall.
