After helping the Broncos to win over Carolina by rushing 68 yards, Melvin Gordon got more good news Monday morning that his DUI hearing has been postponed, so he will get to finish out this season, according to Mike Klis.

The Broncos’ running back was cited for speeding and a DUI Oct. 13 for going 25 mph over the posted speed limit. There was no extra punishment from the team, and the league will likely wait for the court proceedings to finish before issuing an expected suspension.
Last season Kareem Jackson was suspended for two games for a DUI. The DUI happened in September, and the NFL handed out the suspension for the final two games of 2019.
Depending on how you consider the Broncos circumstances right now at 5-8 and not officially eliminated from playoff contention, Gordon’s suspension next season is likely more of a detriment to the offense.
This would almost make 2020 an OK year https://t.co/bRG8F5koXg

Gordon has rushed for 753 yards so far this season and added six touchdowns. He has also had two games of more than 100 yards - against the Jets in Week 4 and Kansas City in Week 13.
