Broncos-Bills gameday inactives: Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay will play

The Denver Broncos will have their backfield ready to go, but will be without their starting right tackle as they take on the Buffalo Bills this afternoon.

The Denver Broncos got a bit of good news today as they officially ruled that both running backs Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay will play against the Buffalo Bills. While they were both listed as questionable, Head Coach Vic Fangio expected they’d both be good to go for this game.

“Melvin, if we had practiced today, would have been limited—as Philip would have been also,” Fangio said on Wednesday. “I think they’ll both be OK by the end of the week.”

The real issue will continue to be the offensive line as right tackle Demar Dotson will be out again this week. That will leave Elijah Wilkinson in as the starter, since Mike Klis noted that Calvin Anderson, Netane Muti, and Austin Scholottmann will all be backup offensive linemen in this game. The good news is that Graham Glasgow will be back in the starting position.

Also inactive for the Broncos will be quarterback Jeff Driskel, wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland, inside linebacker Mark Barron, defensive tackle Sylvester Williams, and outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo.

On the Bills side of things, they will be without quarterback Jake Fromm, running back T.J. Yeldon, safety Jaquan Johnson, offensive lineman Jonotthan Harrison, tight end Tyler Kroft, and defensive end Trent Murphy.
