Welcome to Week 16 of the regular season!
The Denver Broncos have won more road games than home games this season and will look to add their fourth road win of 2020 as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers this week.
All eyes will be on quarterback Drew Lock as he looks to put questions about his NFL ability to rest in these final two games. He was asked about what he needs to do in these final two games on Wednesday.
“I think the biggest thing in this league is winning games,” Lock said. “It’s going to be about me going out there and letting my play represent winning play from a quarterback. The ball is in my hands every single snap, and it’s about me taking care of it and helping us move that ball down the field to be able to score points to win a game. In my mind, that’s all I want to do. I want to win these last two with whatever it takes, whether that’s me handing the ball off 50 times or it’s me throwing it 50 times. Whatever it’s going to take for us to win this game, it’s my job to play my best football to help us go do that.”
He’ll get his chance to shut up his naysayers as he goes up against two very suspect defenses in the Chargers this week and the Las Vegas Raiders next week.
Kickoff is set for 2:05 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on your local CBS station.
