The always underdog Denver Broncos will take the field in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Both teams are 5-9, so the winner will avoid finishing last place in the AFC West in 2020.

Game preview
The biggest thing for Drew Lock and the offense in this game is to get tight end Noah Fant involved early and often. The Chargers are weak against pass catching tight ends, so that could be the type of game plan that could work out well for the Broncos.
As for Fant, Head Coach Vic Fangio has liked what he has seen from the second-year player.
“I think Noah’s had a good season,” Fangio said. “He’s caught the ball well, he’s run with it well after the catch, his blocking has been good. I’m very, very pleased with Noah. I think Noah has a bright future. He’s already a good player and I think he’s going to continue to improve.”
If they get Fant involved in this game plan, then I think the Broncos could outlast the Chargers even if this game devolves into a shootout type deal.
