The Kansas City Chiefs reclaim the top spot despite a sloppy win over our beloved 4-8 Denver Broncos. The reason is the previously undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers got upset this week by the Washington Football Team, which knocked them down all the way the third on my list.
There are quite a few teams I’m not a big believer in right now. The first would be the Cleveland Browns who still have a negative net points mark, joining only the Las Vegas Raiders as teams with a winning record despite a negative net points issue. The Raiders needed a massive LOLJets move to escape with a win this week, so I dumped them down to where I’ve wanted them all season long. They deserve it. Another team I don’t have a lot of faith in is the 8-4 Miami Dolphins. Those three seem like the biggest fraud-like teams, but the Browns do keep winning...
A couple of previously bad teams seem to be hot. The New York Giants look like a respectably playoff team, but the aforementioned WFT is hot on their heels. Another team that is better than you think is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Four of their last five losses have been by four points or less. They are very close to winning a couple of games.
That brings us back to the Broncos. They have a winnable game this week against the 4-8 Carolina Panthers, but if they lose that game it might be time to go all in on the best 2021 NFL Draft pick possible. They played a good game against the Chiefs, so I am also not opposed to winning out here.
That’s all I got this week. Here are my full Week 14 NFL power rankings.
