With four quarterbacks eating spots within the Top 15 in Dan Kadar’s latest mock draft, it left some supreme talent on the board for the Denver Broncos to address a glaring need for playmakers on offense. CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jeudy went a few spots before the 15th overall pick, but Henry Ruggs III remained. That is who Kadar sent Denver’s way.
15. Denver Broncos: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama
We’re back to Ruggs landing in Denver. It just fits. Ruggs is a deep speed receiver, and Broncos quarterback Drew Lock is a deep-ball specialist. Next.
It would totally make sense. Ruggs is a sub-4.3 speed guy with solid route running ability and excellent body control. He’d be a game-changing player for this offense.
If Denver is serious about catching up to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, then Ruggs is definitely the guy to help accelerate (pun intended) that process. He might just be at the top of my draft board at this point.
