It’s no secret the Denver Broncos will look to add receivers.
Whether through free agency or the NFL Draft, the Broncos want to add speed and a deep threat to the mix that already has one of the best young wideouts in the NFL in Courtland Sutton.
One of the possible names to keep an eye on is Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings. For about the last week, trade rumors have been flying and Diggs has been sending cryptic messages on social media.
On Friday’s Broncos Country Tonight, they talked with The Athletic’s Arif Hasan, who covers the Vikings, about the Diggs trade rumors, as well as the impact new Denver offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur could have ... on if a possible move is made but mainly the Broncos offense.
Given the connection between Diggs and Shurmur, if it makes sense I say make the move. Diggs is one of the best receivers in the league, is a deep threat every time he’s on the field and would add what John Elway, Vic Fangio and Drew Lock are looking for on offense.
And who knows, if the board falls in place, Elway could still add another receiver in the first round and select a Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III or CeeDee Lamb. One can dream, right?
