NFL free agency is almost here.
And as I’ve said over the years, with it the rumors and speculation can finally go away. For now, free agents will get linked to the Denver Broncos as possible targets for the next few days; especially defensive line, inside linebacker, cornerback, receiver and, hopefully, interior offensive line.
On Friday’s Broncos Country Tonight, Ryan Edwards and Benjamin Allbright took the case to court: Should the Broncos sign receiver Robby Anderson? Ryan argued for; Ben argued against.
One thing to keep an eye on is the CBA vote this weekend. If it passes, the transition tag will not be an option for teams who also use the franchise tag. How does that impact the Broncos? It could make Amari Cooper available since the Dallas Cowboys would use the franchise tag on Dak Prescott. In terms of potential free agent receivers, give me Cooper over Anderson.
