According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos have signed offensive lineman Graham Glasgow. The deal is a four-year, $44 million dollar contract with $26 million dollars guaranteed.

Glasgow is a 6’6”, 310lb guard/center who has played four seasons in the NFL, all with the Detroit Lions. He is a durable player who has played in all but two games in his career thus far.

This past season for the Lions, Glasgow earned a 74.1 overall grade by Pro Football Focus. So he figures to be a solid upgrade to the Broncos offensive line.

All signs point to Glasgow being a center for the Broncos. He will be replacing free agent center Connor McGovern and now giving the Broncos their full starting offensive line. Garett Bolles will be back at left tackle while Dalton Risner will be at left guard. Glasgow will start at center and all signs point to Elijah Wilkinson being the Broncos starting right guard. A hopefully healthy Ja’Wuan James will be the man at right tackle. I think we will see some youth, depth and competition added in the draft, but our starting five seems settled.

Hopefully improving the offensive line will give quarterback Drew Lock more time in the pocket to find an open receiver. Also, hope it opens up the running lanes for whoever pairs with Phillip Lindsay in the Broncos backfield.

I like this deal and it appears they didn’t overpay for Glasgow’s services either. A solid move by General Manager John Elway and likely one green lighted by Hall Of Famer Mike Munchak who coaches the offensive line.

Do you like this deal Broncos Country!?
