Should the Broncos take Tua Tagovailoa if he falls to 15?

It’s not as far fetched as you might think.

During my day-job, I listen to a lot of podcasts. Probably too many. Because of that, I’ve been doing a lot of listening to quarterback talk in the lead up to the NFL Draft. One thing that seems to be gaining steam is the fact that because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Pro Days and official visits, teams are going to be flying blind in many ways.

Move the Stick’s Daniel Jeremiah has said a couple times that this will have an impact on players with medical questions, because many teams don’t even consider prospects unless they have their own medical grade on them. On Stick to Football, Matt Miller has also mentioned scouts telling him that they prefer Oregon’s Justin Herbert to Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa.

This got me wondering about the possibility that one of the premier quarterback’s sliding to 15. So of course, I had to discuss it with Jeffrey Essary on this week’s Cover 2 Broncos: would Drew Lock prevent him from adding another quarterback?
