Denver Broncos select Lloyd Cushenberry in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft

The Denver Broncos have selected LSU center Lloyd Cushenberry in the third round, 83rd overall, of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Broncos went wide receiver back-to-back in the first two rounds and then went with a bit of a reach for Michael Ojemudia with their first third round pick. Despite all that, Lloyd Cushenberry remained on the board despite many of us thinking he’d be a second round pick.

For Denver to snag their starting center here was a huge value pick. The Broncos interior offensive line looks quite imposing now with Cushenberry starting and newly signed Graham Glasgow on one side and Dalton Risner on the other.
