Greatest Broncos games of the 2010s: Ravens at Broncos, 9/5/2013

New, comments

Peyton Manning threw for an NFL-record seven touchdowns as he and the Denver Broncos exorcised some demons against the visiting Baltimore Ravens on opening day in 2013.

The beginning of the 2013 season was one of anticipation. The Denver Broncos were still reeling from their stunning upset in overtime to the eventual Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round the previous season and would open at home to face them again.

Watch NFL Gamepass: Ravens at Broncos. 9/5/2013

What happened sent a message to the rest of the NFL that the 2013 Broncos was going to be lightning in a bottle offensively. Peyton Manning would throw for an NFL-record seven touchdowns as Denver would obliterate the Ravens 49-27.

Trying to cut up GIFs of all this would be some work, so instead, enjoy the All-55 touchdown video above. You will have to click through to YouTube, because the NFL doesn’t want its content anywhere but on its own web properties. Even so, one click and you’ll be enjoying some Peyton 2013 greatness. I think Manning’s single-season touchdown record will never be broken in any 16-game stretch.

Now this was a fun game to re-watch.
