In an interview on the Denver Broncos official site, Shelby Harris wasted little time throwing a bunch of trash on the newly minted Las Vegas Raiders.
Alexis Perry of the teams digital media team asked Harris after the draft if the rivalry would live on even if the Raiders are in Vegas.
“I don’t think it’s going to be the same,” Harris said. “I just don’t see them having much of a hometown appeal. I feel like it’s going to be more like a tourist thing of like, ‘Oh, we’re in Vegas, let’s go to the game.’”
And if that wasn’t enough, Perry made a point to compare the Raiders to the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team to which Harris replied, “Yeah, you have to be good, though.”
Noah Fant, who was also on the call, burst into laughter.
Then on Monday, a Raider fan on Twitter got all bothered by it and it was like someone threw up an easy layup, so I dunked on him. Because why not, it’s the offseason.
Please forgive my vigorous use of the colon in this tweet. I was just too excited to throw down the data.
On being good: here are the Raider win totals by year since 2003: 4, 5, 4, 2, 4, 5, 5, 8, 8, 4, 4, 3, 7, 12, 6, 4, 7.

Don't get mad just because @ShelbyHarris93 knows his NFL history. https://t.co/8w9OO4rqwj
2 is also the number of points he deflected in Week 17 to give Denver the win.

Well done, Shelby! Way to make this long offseason a little sweeter.
