I’m trying not to leap too far out into La-La Land this offseason and after reading the daily news to prep for today’s Horse Tracks, I found plenty of reason to stay grounded.
Seth Walder points out in the middle of his list of interesting tidbits about this season the dichotomy of the Indianapolis Colts (who have arguably the easiest schedule of the year) and the Broncos (who have arguably the toughest).
For the Broncos to return to the playoff hunt, they are going to have to absolutely beat every team they should because there won’t be much wiggle room with what basically breaks down to 5 likely losses (2 X KC, Saints, NE, and Bucs).
That being said, I’m never one for geeking out too much on stats no matter how well thought out they may be. For all we know this team could go 16-0 or 0-16...there’s just too many changes happening for any kind of real predictions when nary a game has been played as of yet.
