The NFL has announced its 2020 regular season schedule. The Denver Broncos will look to build on that 4-1 finish last season under rookie quarterback Drew Lock. Denver attacked the offseason with some defensive acquisitions in a couple of trades and added a plethora of offensive weapons.

They will need all hands on deck, because they will enter the season with the 12th toughest strength of schedules. After back-to-back 10-loss seasons, the team rallied to avoid a third and could be a sneaky good team this year.

The Broncos will open the season at home on Monday Night Football - the dreaded second MNF game - against the Tennessee Titans. Not exactly a premier prime time matchup, but I do expect the Broncos to enter this game favored.

Looking over the middle part of the schedule, I think the Broncos should come out of the bye week with a winning record. The most annoying part of the schedule is the fact that they once again scheduled Denver to go to Arrowhead in December.

Five of their final eight games will be AFC West divisional games and their first AFC West division game will be in Week 7. This could be part of the NFL’s contingency plan, but I did notice there were plenty of division games in Week 1 and early in the season. That would lead me to believe it is a bit of a coincidence for Denver to have all of their AFC West games late in the season. That could be a rough ride late for Denver.
