The Denver Broncos had one player test positive for COVID-19 when the team reported to the facility in late July. Andrew Beck was put on the COVID-19 reserve list on July 30th. Mike Klis of 9News is reporting that he spent over two weeks battling the illness and worked on ‘getting his lungs in shape’ last week.

In order for Beck to return, he had to spend 10 days away from the facility and upon returning had to test negative. Then from there he had to test negative for eight days of daily testing. Today must have marked the final day in that process for him to return to the field.
For now, the Broncos have all their players having tested negative for the coronavirus. They’ll try to keep that bubble clean for the remainder of the 2020 regular season.
Beck will return to practice on Monday and joins a very crowded tight end room. His versatility as a fullback will likely secure him a roster spot, though. It’ll be good for Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay to get their primary blocker back for those short yardage drills.
