The Denver Broncos are into a run of six straight days of training camp practices. Here on Day 3 they will don the pads for the first time.
Through the first two days of came, the big news has been the Broncos rookie wide receivers - Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler. Jeudy has shown he has the route running skills to take on and separate NFL-caliber starters and is already running with the first team unit two days in. Meanwhile, Hamler is also showing his shiftiness and ability to break ankles with his speed and agility.
The offense is young, but it has some firepower there. On defense, the Broncos look every bit like the Top 5 unit we all believe it to be this season.
Let’s see how they do during Day 3 of Broncos Camp.

No surprise, it looks Austin Schlottman will be getting the first team reps at Center today. I imagine we’ll see he and Morris continue to swap every day, until Lloyd Cushenberry can get in the mix. #BroncosCountry #BroncosCamp @KOAColorado

Nick Vannett is a house disguised as a tight end. Just massive at the end of the line. But he’s also been impressive as a receiver. Accelerates quickly.

Schlottman running w 1s at center. Cushenberry 2. Morris also in mix. Lock has been sharp, completing first 4 passes. #Denver7

Very nice run from UDFA Le'Vante Bellamy against the #Broncos top defense.

Drew Lock begins 6-of-7 across team and 7-v-7 drills. One incompletion was a nice play from inside linebacker Todd Davis breaking up an on-target pass to Fant.

Jeudy vs. Callahan.
— Aric DiLalla (@AricDiLalla) August 17, 2020
Jeudy takes an unreal stutter step and is instantly open.
Lock finds him for a short completion.
Lindsey catches a pass across the middle and Todd Davis tattoos him. Phil gets up and and has some words but Davis pats him on the helmet and everything is good. FWIW, Lock lead him to that spot where he was popped. @KOAColorado

I have finally fulfilled my pandemic-long dream of seeing Jerry Jeudy run routes in person.

As #ESPN’s @danorlovsky7 told me how Shurmur has as many college concepts as anyone besides Andy Reid. Saw it with fakes today. One led to long completion from Lock to Sutton #Denver7 #Broncos

Lindsay with the run of the day...stretch right, Phil runs a counter with a sharp cut up field, brilliant seal on the left side by Bolles, Risner...Lindsay left Attaochu in his dust. Poetry. #Broncos @KOAColorado
