Broncos’ wide receiver room oozes with potential

Look for Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, and K.J. Hamler to cause absolute fits for defenses in 2020.

Every year around this time I find some new thing to get excited about. Last year it was the running game with Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman. The year before it was the potential of the offense behind a legit quarterback sans controversy in Case Keenum.

So, Broncos fans, this year’s kiss of death from your truly’s own kool-aid filled training camp outlook is none other than the wide receiver group.

Courtland Sutton is an established #1 WR weapon.

Jerry Jeudy is a route running dynamo.

Tim Patrick is the sleeper guy no one sees coming that takes advantage of the attention the other two get.

And last, but not least, K.J. Hamler is a home run hitting speed demon from the slot.

If Drew Lock can be even a half-way decent NFL starter, these guys are going to make some defenders look silly and have a couple games get lop sided for us (and aside from playing the Cardinals, how long has it been since we’ve had that happen in the past few years?).

Hit up the comments and let me know what group (offense or defense) you are most excited to see this season!
