Drew Lock came out going deep on the first play to Tim Patrick, but it was overthrown. On second down, Denver Broncos seventh-round pick Tyrie Cleveland gets his first NFL reception for a seven yard gain. On third and three, Lock from the shotgun hit Jerry Jeudy in the hands who dropped it to end the drive.

The Titans got a first down on three plays to start their next drive, but Shelby Harris stuffed Derrick Henry on first down. Then on second down, rookie third round pick Michael Ojemudia came down with an interception on Ryan Tannehill. The big play was negated by a personal foul by Alexander Johnson.
That miscue by the Broncos defense set Tennessee up at their own 49 yard line.
Josey Jewell found himself face to face with Henry on the play and completely up ended Henry for a loss on first down.
Not often you see Derrick Henry get tackled like this! Helluva play/tackle by Josey Jewell pic.twitter.com/m3QuF0hOsz

Tannehill gets it back and then some to setup a third and four. The Titans would convert and then some as they would dink and dunk to their tight ends for another first down.
From the Broncos 25 yard line, the defense stiffened as Jurrell Casey batted the ball down to bring out another field goal attempt by Stephen Gostkowski. Worried about another block or a shank, Gostkowski pulled that kick wide and missed his third field goal on the night.
A run for a loss and a pass for a loss, both to Melvin Gordon, put the Broncos into a quick third and 14 situation. From the gun, Drew Lock went to Jerry Jeudy. The ball was well short and nearly intercepted.
Lucky this wasn't a huge turnover. Lock had an open DaeSean Hamilton in the middle of the field. pic.twitter.com/XPHksuqdcZ

Justin Simmons missed a chance for a big interception on the Titans second play on the next drive.

On third and two, Alexander Johnson was tackled by the center allowing Ryan Tannehill to make an easily completion for a play that was blown up initially. No call was made.
Despite all the Broncos have faced with injuries, they are dominating the line of scrimmage on defense holding Henry to just 3.3 yards per carry in the game up to this point. On the third down and three call, the Broncos were flagged for a face mask penalty after Jeremy McNicols had his helmet ripped off by Josey Jewell.
From the Broncos 46-yard line, the Derrick Henry show finally got going. In two plays he gained 13 yards and another first down. Then on play action, Corey Davis snagged a ball while being draped by both Justin Simmons and Byrce Callahan down to the Broncos 20-yard line.
The third quarter would end with the Titans on the verge of scoring. The break in quarters is a much needed one for Denver’s defense, since the offense is being plagued by three and outs.
