Broncos-Steelers odds: Denver heavy road underdogs at Pittsburgh

The Denver Broncos are 6.5-point dogs to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Any playoff odds for Denver would plummet off a cliff if they start the season 0-2.

The Denver Broncos faltered at home on Monday Night Football and now must travel to face the dominate Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Denver is a 6.5-point road underdog in Pittsburgh, which is a full point higher than it was when the line opened.

Denver looked good at times, but the miscues really began to pile up late in the game and ultimately it cost them a win. While Pittsburgh looked a bit off early in their Week 1 matchup, they got hot in the second half and steamrolled to their 1-0 start.

With sports betting being legal in Colorado now, you could put some money down on this game. However, with a young offense in a new system that would be a risky proposition against a defense like Pittsburgh’s.

There are other Broncos odds to consider too. Here are the full betting lines for the Broncos-Steelers game this weekend.

I predict most everyone who isn’t a diehard Broncos fan is going to automatically chalk this game up as a loss, but young teams like Denver with as much talent as they have can have the kinds of games where they could beat anyone.

They will also be unpredictable, so it’ll be hard to guess which teams they will blow up against and which teams they’ll miscue their way to a loss.
