NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Dre’Mont Jones has a PCL strain and bone bruise.
#Broncos DE Dre'Mont Jones is expected to miss 4-6 weeks because of a PCL strain and bone bruise in his knee, source said. Another blow for Denver.

In all honesty this isn’t as bad as I expected Sunday. The way Jones clutched his knee during the broadcast left me under the impression it would be far worse.
A third round pick out of Ohio State, Dre’Mont Jones flashed as a pass rusher during his rookie season. He won Defensive Player of the Week honors for his three sack performance against the Detroit Lions. Even beyond the numbers, he’s shown promise with his hands and wiggle. I hope he can get back into action.
His injury is the latest in a long list of banged up Broncos:
- Von Miller
- Drew Lock
- Courtland Sutton
- DeMarcus Walker
- Davontae Harris
- Phillip Lindsay
- A.J. Bouye
This doesn’t even count some of the players who have gotten hurt, but played through or come back from it. Both Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler have also been dinged up.
