After a 28-10 home loss in Week 3, the Denver Broncos have a short turnaround to face the New York Jets in Week 4 on Thursday Night Football. With both teams 0-3, this could be the first “Tank Bowl” of 2020.
According to http://www.tankathon.com/nfl, the Broncos currently hold the #2 overall spot.

While I don’t think the Broncos will continue losing to get one of the top draft positions, there is no denying where the team is at right now with injuries and losses. The thing that bothers me about the possibility of a top draft pick next year is that they might go tackle instead of quarterback.
The need for a left tackle is clear, but if Trevor Lawrence is there you literally have to go quarterback. I like Drew Lock a lot and he would have trade value in that situation. Use the trade and start going after the need to resolve the right and left tackle situations that way.
Hopefully, come Friday morning, these tank status updates will no longer be a thing since Denver will have won the Tank Bowl and out of the Top 5 of the 2021 NFL Draft order for good.
