According to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Brandon Krisztal, the Denver Broncos have another devastating injury to their defense. Jurrell Casey suffered a torn bicep against the Pittsburgh Steelers and played through the injury last week, but the MRI results have shown that he is definitely done for the year now.
Just confirmed that Jurrell Casey is done for the year with a torn bicep. He had and MRI today. Turns out he injured it against Pittsburgh and played with it Sunday. #Toughness #BroncosCountry @KOAColorado

The hits keep on coming for Denver. They have now lost Von Miller, Courtland Sutton, and Jurrell Casey for the season. Other players out for several games early this season include Drew Lock, Phillip Lindsay, A.J. Bouye, and others.
How this team can keep responding to these hits is a question that will be on everyone’s mind when they take on the New York Jets this Thursday night. You have to believe the leaky dam will burst at some point. They will start with either Jeff Driskel or Brett Rypien this week, but Blake Bortles is also there waiting in the wings.
Could a team be better situated for a tank than these 2020 Broncos?
