The Denver Broncos are going through Day 16 of training camp. Just two days from cut day now.

The Denver Broncos made a move to finalize their cornerback roster by trading Isaac Yiadom to the New York Giants on Wednesday for a seventh round pick. The move came after undrafted rookie Essang Bassey got the call for first-team reps in practice.

“I just decided today—actually last night but didn’t tell him—as soon as we started the teamwork and first drills for him to take the reps with the first nickel [defense] as the nickel. It was more of a test for him. It wasn’t a move or anything just to see how he reacted and how he would do in there.”
