The Denver Broncos drafted Juwann Winfree in the sixth round last season, but after a year they are apparently moving on from him. He appeared in a few games last year, but ended the season on injured reserve and spent most of training camp unable to get healthy enough to practice.
WR Juwann Winfree has been waived per source. Couldn't stay healthy in camp. #9sports

Winfree, 24, was drafted out of Colorado. He was considered a raw talent that needed time to develop. He might be a good practice squad candidate for the Broncos. He has good measuables with a 4.53 4-yard dash at his Pro Day. As a former draft pick, he might just get one of those 16 practice squad slots.
The Broncos entered camp with a very deep wide receiver room. It was unlikely Winfree was going to make the cut with how little he was able to practice during the COVID-19 shortened training camp this season. He still has a ton of talent, so we might not have seen the last of Juwann Winfree in a Broncos uniform.
