The Denver Broncos have picked up their roster moves this morning. The big name in this list was their rookie seventh-round pick Derrek Tuszka who was waived this morning. Troy Renck noted that they hope to add him to the practice squad as the team hopes he can add some strength.

Another former draft pick, a fifth-rounder last year, Justin Hollins was also waived. He came into the league a bit of a tweener and hasn’t quite found a role. He might also be a strong practice squad contender this season. Hollins finished his rookie year with 21 tackles, a sack, and two pass defensed.

The last two were not likely to make the team. Fullback Jeremy Cox was competing with Andrew Beck for that position, but Beck’s dual role as a tight end likely helped him win that race. The team also waived recently signed offensive tackle Darrin Paulo.
