Two of the greatest quarterbacks of their generation will square off for the first time in the playoffs. Drew Brees will finish his career with one playoff game against Peyton Manning and one against Tom Brady. He beat Peyton in the Super Bowl once and looks to take down Brady here in the NFC Divisional Round.

Game preview

The storyline is obviously the two quarterbacks, but what might separate these two teams from each other is on the defensive side of the ball. The New Orleans Saints defense is pretty damn good and that could pose significant problems for Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense.

In two games during the regular season, the Bucs were beaten 34-23 and 38-3 by the Saints. The biggest difference is in how well the Saints defense played against Brady. Tom Brady only threw 12 interceptions all season long, but 5 of those came in those two games against New Orleans. He was also sacked six times.

The Bucs will have to figure out how to produce some offense against the Saints defense or this game could get out of hand pretty quickly.
