Yesterday saw an excellent piece from the Denver Broncos site that talked about the emergence of Jonathan Cooper. With most of Broncos Country moving through various stages of fan grief, it reminded me of one way to enjoy the rest of the season: look at the young players that are getting time on the field.
Rookies like Cooper are getting very important live snaps in games with all the injuries the Broncos have and it can be very fun to see just how close some of them are getting to taking the next step up the roster ladder.
Yes, our team once again sucks, but take heart, friends. There’s always a silver lining somewhere.
