Welcome to Week 8!
Last week, we all struggled a bit. Somehow, I was able to gain a game on Laurie and Jess gained a couple on both of us. I picked well in spots and bad in others, so it was all a wash in the end.
Here in Week 8, I like the games I got different than Laurie or Jess. I had the Tennessee Titans as the top AFC team in my weekly power rankings, but it is hard to ignore the surging Indianapolis Colts. I’ll also take the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Case Keenum-led Cleveland Browns. Ironically, the one game I’m worried about is our beloved Denver Broncos. I have them winning, but both Jess and Laurie went with the ‘WTF’ team of the NFL.
In our local Yahoo community pick’em group, I got a tie going for the top spot but its a tight field with five us between 27-30 wins. Last week, newly arrived Vigilantes hit 10 correct calls along with GladGrudensGone and Gbc406. You join this group below any time.

Broncos-WFT Against the Spread
Looking at the betting line for the Denver Broncos and Washington Football Team, I also see strength for Denver here. A three-point home favorite here, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. I have Denver at least covering, if not outright winning by more than a field goal.
