The Denver Broncos saw their starting quarterback return to the injury participation list on Thursday. Teddy Bridgewater had an oblique issue, but was still a full participant in practice. We’ll have to see how his status progresses tomorrow. Von Miller and Mike Purcell were both held out again today. That puts their availability for Sunday in serious question.
Denver needs Von out there, but with a scary close call last week there is no reason to risk him in Week 8. It does sound as though head coach Vic Fangio is hoping he’ll be ready on gameday.
“We still have Friday’s practice, too,” Fangio said when asked about Von Miller’s DNP. “Von is a veteran player, so you feel a little bit more comfortable playing him with limited practice. We’ll see how it goes. [It’ll] come down to him physically.”
For the Washington Football Team, you can put to rest any doubt about wide receiver Terry McLaurin’s hamstring. He was a full go on Thursday and looks primed to feast on a Broncos’ secondary that has struggled in recent weeks. Tight end Ricky Seals-Jones is also progressing well from his quad issue.
Here is your full Thursday practice participation report for both teams.
