Monday Night Football Week 4: Raiders at Chargers - Live Updates

One AFC West team will win tonight and it might be better for the Denver Broncos if the Los Angeles Chargers take this game.

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers Philip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders are off to their best start (3-0) since 2002 and its largely do to Derek Carr playing lights out to start the season. We’ve seen Carr play like this through stretches before and he’s always found a way to find a rut that derails a potential Raiders return to contention. Hopefully that derailment starts tonight against the Los Angeles Chargers.

I’m no fan of the Chargers either, but I grew up in Northern California and have a particular bias against all things Raiders and their fans. It’s much more enjoyable when they are perpetually disappointed. I am sure they feel the same way towards us Broncos fans.

Getting serious for a moment, I did predict the Raiders would beat the Chargers tonight and I think that is a likely outcome. That stadium is going to be rocking and its not going to be rocking the Bolts. It’ll be silver and black all the way.

Kickoff is set for Monday, October 4, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. Mile High time at SoFI Stadium where the Rams live but the Chargers rent a room at and will air on ESPN. If you are looking for an online stream elsewhere, fuboTV will be streaming this game.
