Well, the Arizona Cardinals finally got knocked off their perch after losing at home to the Green Bay Packers last week. Against a Packers team without most of the wide receiver room even. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams just went all in on 2021 trading for former Denver Broncos edge rusher and future Hall of Famer Von Miller. Hard not to put them in the top spot this week.
I don’t think any of the teams in the Top 5 will fall out of the Top 5 next week even if they lost a game. These five are the very top of the NFL food chain and, surprisingly, they are all NFC teams. The AFC is a mess with no team with a clear cut above the rest.
The Tennessee Titans might have been that team, but they just lost the engine their powers their offense in Derrick Henry for the next 10 weeks or so. The Buffalo Bills don’t look consistent enough to be a contender. In fact, despite so-so defensive play, the Las Vegas Raiders look like the most consistent team in the AFC right now. Isn’t that disgusting?
