The Broncos have regressed in their offensive play calling

Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur is stumbling through games and its costing the Denver Broncos dearly. Is there any hope he can turn things around?

The Denver Broncos have a problem with offensive play calling and, also, execution. That isn’t going to change much with Pat Shurmur firmly entrenched as the offensive coordinator, so it will fall on Teddy Bridgewater to keep trying to find successful opportunities from Shurmur’s scheme.

Ryan Edwards and Ben Allbright brought in Tim Jenkins on Broncos Country Tonight to talk about the Broncos offensive woes and they all agreed Shurmur’s decision-making in the final offensive series was a serious head scratcher. Jenkins liked what he saw from Bridgewater throughout the game, but the red zone struggles remain.

He’s always a good interview.
