Broncoman 2021 Mock Draft 22.0 - Unconventional go for Offense

Let me preface this that I would still try to trade for Darnold and still try to sign the free agents I have previously listed. But I thought I would go into the draft with a mindest of lets fix the offense, for all the potential we still were mediocre to just flat out bad. We can blame it on a host of issues, but bottom line unless we score more points, we don't win. So with that mindset lets draft:

I still traded back a little but went unconventional from there:

Pick 12 Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida - Hear me out, I know we have Fant, we have AO, why would we need another TE? While Fant has shown promise, he hasn't been reliable, and he is still the 4th best TE in the division. Pitts will likely be graded out as the third best prospect in this draft. In a draft with a ton of freak athletes, Pitts is outer worldly, he is a true mismatch, too big and too fast for anyone to cover effectively in single coverage. Think of a lineup with Pitts, Sutton, Juedy, Patrick, and Fant on the field, this creates huge mismatches. You tell me a QB that couldn't excel with that.

Kyle Pitts: The top tight end of the 2021 NFL Draft?

Pick 40 Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa - Another freak athlete who basically can be a game changer in the middle of the field or lined up as a edge rush defender. A guy you can move all over the field to help fix defense. He will have a learning curve, but he has traits you can't coach.

Tulsa LB Collins a small-town player with big-time talent

Pick 71 Dillon Radunz, OT, NDState - No more excuses for the O-line, lets solve the RT position, give whoever the reigns at QB and give them time to let guys get open and with the skill on offense we should be Nintendo Bowl type of offense with Bo Jackson (1990 Reference).

Pick 89 Joe Tyron, OLB, Washington - Not getting as much love due to opting out this past season, but really was starting to come into his own in 2019. He has nice blend of size and speed. Let him learn under Von and Chubb he has the tools to be a very good rush OLB.

Pick 110 Trey Sermon, RB Oklahoma - I don't trust Melvin Gordon and I don't think Lindsey will be back. Sermon is just a tough, physical runner who I think is going to excel in the league. Again the TD comparison I think is apt.

Pick 114 Benjamin- St-Juste, CB Minnesota - Big and physical CB who plays smart. Should be able to play the boundary.

Pick 153 Paulson Adebo, CB Stanford - Another guy who got downgraded after opting out, I think if he had played likely 2nd round pick.

Pick 235 Christian Uphoff, S Illinois State - Underrated safety prospect, smart and savvy player.

Jim Nagy on Twitter: "Aside from North Dakota State, the FCS team most affected by a move to the spring would be Illinois State. @RedbirdFB has more @seniorbowl Watch List prospects (5)

Pick 237 - Khyiris Tonga, DT, BYU - Massive NT prospect gives depth to position.

Pick 252 - Tommy Kraemer, G, Notre Dame - A player who adds depth to the o-line.

If all else fails and Drew Lock or whoever struggles, then tell me how Denver would not be an ideal destination for any QB in 2022 and beyond.
