The Denver Broncos announced on Tuesday that they waived wide receiver Fred Brown, safety Alijah Holder, tight end Jordan Leggett, defensive end Joel Heath, and tackle Darrin Paulo.

Both Brown and Holder were contributors last season. Brown was added to the active roster as a COVID-19 elevation, while Holder was brought in as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and appeared in 8 games last season as the team battled through significant injuries in the secondary.

Meanwhile, both Leggett and Paulo spent the season on the Broncos practice squad. Heath had chosen to opt out of the 2020 season due to COVID concerns.
