According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos were among the teams to show strong interest in Rams edge rusher, Leonard Floyd.
Broncos were one of several teams who had strong interest in Rams edge rusher Leonard Floyd per source. The former Fangio pass rusher stayed home for $16 million per. #9sports

Leonard ended up signing a four-year deal with the Rams that is worth up to $64 million dollars. That’s a pretty big deal for Leonard, and if the Broncos were among the teams who had a strong interest in his services, then that means they were at least willing to pay something close to that. This means the Broncos are in the market for an edge rusher which probably gives us some insight into the impending Von Miller decision.
As we know, the Broncos have to decide whether or not to pick up Miller’s option by tomorrow’s deadline. The smoke coming out has hinted at the two parting ways and now Klis reporting that the Broncos were strongly pursuing Leonard Floyd and it is pretty easy to dot connect here.
No decision has been made on Von and in the end, they could very well end up staying with the Broncos, but, the Broncos being in the market for an edge rusher could be the writing on the well.
We shall see how this plays out and we should be getting our answer here rather soon.
