According to his agent Mike McCartney, former Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay has signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans.
Pumped for Phillip Lindsay ( @I_CU_boy ) agreeing to a 1 year deal with the @HoustonTexans

Lindsay joins veterans David Johnson and Mark Ingram in the Texans backfield.
As we know, Lindsay was originally given an original round tender by the Broncos which simply meant that any team could offer a contract to Lindsay without giving up any compensation and the Broncos had a chance to match that deal. However, the Broncos ended up removing that tender from Lindsay allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent.
Now he’ll join the dysfunctional Houston Texans and battle for the teams starting running back job. WIll he share that backfield with DeShaun Watson? We shall see.
In the end, Lindsay quickly found a new team and is making what basically comes out to be a second-round tender so good luck to him.
