The end of NFL Draft season is a welcome sight in Broncos Country

Finally, we will all know what the outcome will be for the Broncos

Well, this is the week of the NFL Draft. Finally, the questions about what the Denver Broncos are going to do will come to an end.

First of all, aside from being jealous that the Jacksonville Jaguars are getting Trevor Lawrence, it must have been nice for the last few months not having to wade into the muck of draft Twitter every day for #DUVAAAAL.

Here in Broncos Country, things got real. People got heated. Arguments were had, and friendships were lost. All over whether or not George Paton should stick with Drew Lock, or make a big move to get one of the top QBs in the draft.

Needless to say, Ian and I went over what we hope will happen on Thursday night. We also discussed what we think will be the actual outcome of round one for Denver.

And truthfully, there are scenarios where the Broncos walk away with Drew Lock entrenched as the starter, and an impact player on defense comes to town. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Vic Fangio can convince Paton that one of the top defensive players could be the guy at 9.

If you are pounding the table for Micah Parsons, or Patrick Surtain II, or Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, there are scenarios where the Broncos walk away with one of them. Or maybe they find a tackle to add to the offensive line rotation.

In the end, the best thing about this will be the end of draft season. We will all finally know the outcome, and we will have something new to argue about.
