Welcome to the final day of the 2021 NFL Draft!
Thanks to a plethora of trades on Day 2, the Denver Broncos now have six remaining picks in the final four rounds of the NFL Draft. They start the day with two fifth rounders, a sixth, and three seventh rounders.
Through the first two days, the Broncos drafted four players. They snagged cornerback Patrick Surtain II with the ninth overall selection, then traded up to the 35th spot in the second round to draft running back Javonte Williams. Two more trades down in the third round led to Denver picking up two picks late where they grabbed offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz and linebacker Baron Browning.
I think today will be all about adding depth all across the board. Special Teams is one area that will likely get improved with these draft picks. Hopefully we’ll see an additional defensive back or safety, interior defensive line, and even an edge rusher on defense. On offense, I would like to also see another offensive lineman added to continue the growth in the trenches there.
