Towards the end of the sixth round, the Denver Broncos drafted wide receiver Seth Williams out of Auburn with their 219th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Williams is an intriguing late-round prospect who showed a lot of ability to fight through one on one coverages and excelled as a blocker. He’ll need some time to work on his overall route running and technique, but I like the overall potential here. Some draft analysts even had him pegged with a fourth-round grade. Good value here late in the sixth.
With DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick both on the final year’s of their deals, the Broncos needed to pick up another wide receiver here. Williams will likely need to spend a year on the bench anyway.
Oh, and Chris Harris Jr. loves him after training with him leading up to the draft.
congrats lil bro ✊ kid been training with me . y’all will love him https://t.co/ZtAyrrwv8O
