The Broncos will need a healthy Courtland Sutton

Courtland Sutton talks schedule and QBs

Courtland Sutton will be returning to the Denver Broncos in 2021. He joined Ryan and Ben on Broncos Country Tonight to discuss the schedule release, and the QB situation.

Obviously, the pressing news is the schedule release. With the Broncos starting on the road, fans will have to wait little bit to see Sutton at home in Denver. Getting Sutton back on the field will be a big lift to the offense. The biggest question surrounding the team is which QB will be throwing Sutton the ball.

When asked, Sutton had a lot of good things to say about Drew Lock. Rumors are swirling around Dove Valley. The Broncos are the number one team mentioned in connection with a trade for Aaron Rodgers. That’s not stopping Lock from getting in the building to do his work.

The Broncos are a franchise with several possibilities in 2021. With the Rodgers distraction slowly quieting down, the focus shifts to Lock and Teddy Bridgewater. Lock is still a player with a lot of potential.

Ryan talked about him finishing strong in each of his seasons. If he can have a fast start to the season, a strong finish could put the Broncos in the playoffs. With Sutton back on the field, fast starts and strong finishes are much easier.

Whether he’s catching passes from Lock, Bridgewater, or Rodgers, Sutton will be a key to the Broncos offensive success.
