Does the ongoing quarterback competition harm the Broncos heading into regular season?

Does it help, hurt, or no effect that Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater continue to split reps with the first team in practice?

On the Dublin to Denver podcast, the guys talks a lot about the Denver Broncos quarterback situation. They all agree that the competition part of this is over and Drew Lock should be named the starter, but for whatever reason Vic Fangio is holding out.

That made me think about the regular season and with Week 1 closing in on us fast here does the continued splitting of reps help or hurt the Broncos offense heading into Week 1? I think it hurts at this point. Give Drew Lock every single rep with the first team and give this offense the best chance to produce from the start.

Let’s discuss in the comments. Does it help, hurt, or no effect that Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater continue to split reps with the first team in practice?
